Foreign Direct Investment and Economic Development: Evidence from Central and Eastern Europe

چکیده

This paper aims to investigate the role of foreign direct investment (FDI) on economic development in transition countries Central and Eastern Europe. Statistical analysis is applied relationship between FDI indicators some explanatory variables. Findings show that stock especially labor productivity significantly stimulate exports. Moreover, ratio GDP found be most powerful driver employment. Outcomes depend however policies. Therefore, policy-makers need carefully consider side effects measures they design, avoid negative effects.
